Osaka description

Osaka is a city in Japan, with 2.7 million inhabitants, located in the Kansai region, the island of Honshu, at the mouth of the Yodo River.

It is the capital of Osaka Prefecture and the third city in Japan by population, at the center of a metropolitan area, densely populated area, which includes Kobe and Kyoto, with which it reaches the number of 17,510,000 inhabitants.

Osaka was historically the commercial capital of Japan, and today is one of the largest industrial and port districts.
