Nara is a city in Japan, with about 320,000 inhabitants, located on the island of Honshu, ancient capital from 710 to 794, is now a place of high artistic and tourism.
It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and it’s characterized by red deer that run freely in the parks and ask explicitly for tourists food; this animal is a bit the symbol of the city so as to be reproduced even on the street drains.
The Daibutsu Buddha statue dating from the mid-eighth century. The sculpture, cast in bronze and gold, measuring 16 meters high and weighs over 500 tonnes.
