Capri description

Capri is a municipality of Campania, Italy, in the Province of Naples, situated on the island of Capri.

The island of Capri is, unlike the nearby Ischia and Procida, of karstic origin. Initially it was combined with the Sorrento Peninsula, unless subsequently be partly submerged by the sea and then separated from the mainland, where today is the close of Bocca Piccola.
