Casablanca is a city in western Morocco, located on the Atlantic Ocean; it is the capital of the Grand Casablanca region.
With a population of 3.5 million, Casablanca is Morocco's biggest city as well as its chief port, and is thus considered its economic capital, while its political capital is Rabat.
